rank system

Both education and training are held inside the main caravans area. Once reached the adulthood the members of the clan are allowed to move outside of it and to choose their own occupation.The combat style is mainly based on Ink Art and Taijutsu, the use of actual weapons is possible, especially among the younger ones who cannot freely controll the ink production and are limited to one summon only, but is not common among the clan as they can rely on the versatility of summonings.

Totei - The Apprentices

Starting from the age of 12-14 y.o, those who belong to this rank have just begun their training path. During this phase, each Apprentice is trained on summonings, battle tactics and on the creation of mineral and plant-based inks. They're only allowed to use scrolls, albums or any other inanimate surface to summon the drawing. The main tools are scrolls, ink and brushes.

Senzoku - The Specialists

From 15-19 y.o, at the age of 15 each Apprentice is asked to choose a figure, animal or weapon, for their final exam; they will then use it in a battle against a Master and get judged on a series of technical criteria, such as summoning performance and practical execution. At the end of the examination those who passed get to tattoo the figure they fought with on themselves, and from that point they raise to the rank of Specialists. Once reached this rank, a specialist starts training on the Sumi Ōu Release (Ink Concealing) and during this time they're only allowed to have one summon tattoo on themselves (the one they get promoted with). The required tools remain scrolls, ink and brushes.

Kyoshō - Master Hands

Those who belong to this rank have mastered the Ink Technique and reached the adult age (20 y.o). They are allowed to get tattooed as many summonings as they please, since they now have all the abilities and knowledge to control and manage them. The tool used by this rank is the Sashibo, a bamboo stick with needles on top used in the Tebori tattoo style; the usage of scrolls, ink and brushes is no longer required, but it's up to each member to decide if keep using them or not. Masters are, among other tasks, also put in charge of Apprentices training and examination.

Tantō - The Elite

The Tantō is not really a rank, but more a social class. They are a restricted group formed by those who managed to develop the Kekkei Genkai. While not everyone can become a Tantō, all the Elite members still have to go through the rank system. Each one of them is marked with a coloured tattoo, sign of their status and is exclusive of their rank;

Occupations

At the age of 20 each member is allowed to choose an occupation. All of the fields available are exclusively for the good of the clan, occupations like spies, assassins or any other career that is not meant for the good of the clan is prohibited. More options aside the followings are welcomed as well upon my approval!MOST COVETED CAREERS:Doctors: they are in charge of the wealth of the clan (duh);Military Forces: they have the task of defending the clan from the outside threats;Monks: the spiritual branch of the clan, monks are always in the first line when there's need. Their is the task of judging the guilt or innocence of the clan members when they're been condamned for a crime;Punishers: they are in charge of the executions. When someone of the clan is declared dangerous for the clan itself, Punishers' job is to take them down. They only operate inside the clan, differently from the Military Forces who defends from outside threats, and always upon the Judges sentence;

tecniques

The size of the summonings depends on the user's chakra power, so even smaller tattoos can be resized once they're out of the skin, as for the times they can be regenerate after being destroyed.

Chōjū Giga

The Beast Imitating Drawing Technique, the user can animate any animal figure drawn on paper or other inanimate surfaces.

Heiki Giga

The Weapons Imitating Drawing Technique, like for the Chōjū Giga the user can extract and use drawn weapons.

Sumi Ōu - Shirushi no Hada

The Ink Concealing - Marked Skin Tecnique allows to animate figures tattooed on the user's body. Differently from the scrolls summonings, this tecnique allows to skip the drawing phase and summon the images istantly. Also, the tattoos are not lost during the battle, because the clan have total controll on the ink they can recompose the images infinite times. The shape of the tattoos, tho, can't be changed.

Fūinjutsu: Koshi Tandan

Sealing Technique - Tiger Vision Staring Bullet, the illustration of a tiger streches out of a scroll, captures its prey with teeth and claws and drags the victim back into the scroll, pinning and sealing it down.

KEKKEI GENKAI - Ryūtai

流体 (流Fluid; 体Body) it usually develops around the age of 15, allows the user to produce the pigment directly from the body, specifically using the water in it, and to impress to himself the tattoos without the use of any tools. Depending on where the pigment is generated, that part of the body turns black: common cases are the tongue because of the saliva and the eyes for the tears. The amount of pigment that can be produced differs from each person and unlike the permanent tattoos that common members gets, the Kekkei Genkai permits to reshape the pigment infinite times, to change, adding or removing the figures.

Ryūtai - Tetsuryū Ryūdō

The Iron Flow, is the second stage of the Ryūtai. It allows to draw the ink not from the body's water, but from the blood. In this state the blood turns into ink, causing a darkening of the skin that becomes dark-red or black, depending on how much blood is converted into ink, and because of the iron in the blood the summoned ink shapes becomes much stronger. Because blood is considerably less than water, this is an dangerous tecnique that is only used in extreme situations, since a misuse of it can lead to the death of the user by exsanguination.

SŌJŌSHIN

Ubau (奪う - Take away):

Turns the vessel's body into ink form, making it liquid form and basically damage-proof if hit, allowing it to shape itself in whatever form the user wish. This technique can also be used with almost no chakra consumption, since the vessel can drain the opponent's chakra or draw it from any living things that ends up being inside the ritual mark, and plasm it in more ink. To do so they all need to be inside the mark, outside of which the vessel can rely only on his own chakra.A similar version of this power can also be used by those who chosen the Monk path, whose duty is to absorb and seal the condemned's chakra inside their bodies, without being able to use it. To do so, the Monks are blessed by the current vessel of the God of Taking, who makes them able to take away the chakra in the Sōjōshin name;

Kyōyū (共有 - Give):

It permits the vessel to spread it's chakra through the matter and turn any inanimate objects within it's range that are phisically connecting to each other into ink, reshaping it and using it as an unlimited source of weapons. The connection is possible only through the constant touch of a surface, requiring the vessel to stay in a stationary pose. If the connection is broken, the chakra flow will be cut and everything turned into ink will disappear. Once the ink is formed, the summon can be controlled outside the technique's range.
